Nature and Culture Route Linn

Theme trail
Time required: 1 hour 2 minutesLength: 3.86 km

Jurapark Aargau - Hike along the nature and culture route from the Linner Linde to the Sagimülitäli and experience the Jurapark landscape.

The start and end point of the nature and culture route is the mighty Linner Linde, one of the oldest trees in Aargau. It was probably planted in the mid-16th century in memory of the victims of the last major plague epidemic. Linn itself is over two centuries older than its symbol and has a village image of national significance, which is presented on one of a total of fourteen information boards. The route continues through orchards and open cultural landscapes into the wild Sagimülital, where two dozen different orchid species can be admired in summer. Finally, the path leads back over fields and meadows to the Linde.

This route also includes power places such as the Linner Linde. It is a particularly strong acupuncture point of the earth. More about the power places and the circular path can be found in the flyer «Power Places Linner Linde».

Strollers & Accessible: The route is passable with an all-terrain wheelchair and stroller with a small detour.

Fireplace: «Lower Sagimülital», wood available

Bookable offers: A guided hike with a landscape guide can be booked at Jurapark Aargau.

Parking: There are few public parking spaces at the Linner Linde, more below the former schoolhouse. For an authentic nature park experience, we recommend traveling by public transport.

WC: at the Jurapark Aargau office, Mon-Fri from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The WC is not accessible.
