Blauseeli, the blue lake

Naturpark Diemtigtal - The little mountain lake with an underground inlet lies at the end of the Diemtigtal valley walk. Seating benches and a special "reading bench" are ideal for some quiet and relaxing hours.

The small mountain lake with underground tributary is located at the end of the Diemtigtaler Talwanderweg. Benches and a special "reading bench" invite you to spend quiet and relaxing hours.

Several hundred years ago, an underground spring washed out the gypsum-rich soil of a small forest to such an extent that the entire forest disappeared into a deep hole. Today's Blauseeli emerged from this hole. Even today, the tree trunks of the former forest can be seen at the bottom of the mountain lake.
