Naturpark Diemtigtal - Hike from the Simmental to the Diemtigtal, from Alp Meienberg to Anger (Zwischenflüh). A culinary hike into the heart of the Diemtigtal Nature Park.
With the hiking taxi, you can conveniently get from Zweisimmen to Meienberg by prior reservation. The hiking trail from Meienberg leads you directly into the Diemtigtal Nature Park and the Spillgerte nature reserve. The hiking trail passes blooming alpine meadows, cow pastures, and roaring mountain streams. One of the highlights, Lake Seeberg, can be reached after a short hike. At the Seeberg mountain restaurant, you have the opportunity to refresh yourself before continuing via Stand towards Vordermenige and Menigwald. In Menigwald, the cozy Sennhütte Menigwald mountain restaurant invites you for lunch or an afternoon snack. Well refreshed, the path leads you through the Gündlisgrabe down to the Bodenallmi. Along a short asphalt section, you hike along the Narebach until a bridge near Lussweid crosses the Narebach. From here, the hiking trail leads directly to your destination, Anger, and thus to the post bus stop.

Hiking taxi Zweisimmen - Meienberg
Operation from June to October on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. (other dates on request)

Equipment / Equipment rent
Good hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing (sun/rain protection), possibly hiking poles, possibly binoculars, a small first aid kit, backpack with provisions and enough drinks for the way
Signalization
The hiking taxi takes you from Zweisimmen to Alp Meienberg. From Meienberg, the hiking trail leads you in half an hour directly to Lake Seeberg and thus to the Diemtigtal Nature Park. From the lake, the path turns left and after 10 minutes you reach the Seeberg mountain restaurant. Following the hiking trail further towards Stand, the Diemtigtal leads you into one of its most beautiful and wildest areas at 1900 meters above sea level. After about 1.5 hours of hiking, you reach the Sennhütte Menigwald mountain restaurant, which invites you to linger and enjoy. From here, the hiking trail leads through the Gründlisgraben until, after about 40 minutes, it reaches the road at Bodenallmi. Follow the Meniggrundstrasse along the Narenbach until the hiking trail turns right off the road after about 10 minutes and crosses a bridge towards Anger. From here, it is just under half an hour until you reach your hiking destination, the post bus stop Anger.
