Pass hike Scheidegg
Naturpark Diemtigtal - The hike connects the Diemtigtal Nature Park with the municipality of Zweisimmen. At the Scheidegg, an unexpectedly wild mountain world awaits you at the foot of the Spillgerten.
At the far end of the Diemtigtal Nature Park, your pass hike starts with the ascent to Scheidegg, where the two municipalities of Diemtigen and Zweisimmen meet. Ibex and eagles feel especially comfortable in Alpetli: with some luck, you can observe the shy mountain inhabitants with binoculars in their natural environment. At Scheidegg, the highest point of your hike, you enjoy the stay in a wild, rugged mountain world and may even discover one or another marmot. From here begins the varied descent over alpine pastures, through forests and along mountain streams to Blankenburg.

Equipment / Equipment rent
Good hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing (sun/rain protection), possibly hiking poles, binoculars, first aid kit, backpack with food and enough drinks for the way
Signalization
Follow the hiking trail from Senggiweid via Würzi towards Alpetli. The first part of the path leads over the Grimmimutz adventure trail with its many play stations. From Würzi, the mountain trail winds up via Alpetli to the Scheidegg pass. From here, the descent towards Fromatt begins. You hike past the Fromatthütte above and down into the Fromattchäle. Follow the winding hiking trail until you get closer to your destination via Sitewald/Baawald. When you come out of the forest, you reach Betelriedgasse and encounter the first inhabited houses of Blankenburg. Follow Betelriedgasse to Lenkstrasse, where you cross the main road and follow Bühlmattweg to Blankenburg station. Attention: here applies "stop on request" (to make the train stop, press the button on the station building). Those who want to hike longer or do not want to wait for the train can add another 15 minutes and follow the main road to Zweisimmen.
