Mountainbike trail
Time required: 6 hours 40 minutesLength: 57.54 km

Naturpark Gantrisch - Over fields and past small lakes, the route goes from Thun via Bluemisteiwald up towards the Gurnigel Pass and into the primeval pre-Alpine landscape of the Gantrisch Nature Park. The route leads via scenic single trails to Zollhaus - afterwards a refreshing cool-down in the lake at Schwarzsee awaits.

From Thun the route leads across fields and along quiet forest roads up into the primeval pre-Alpine landscape of the Gantrisch area. Blumenstein is the last stop with dining options before the ascent to the Gurnigel Pass. The peaks of the Gantrisch range draw nearer. Upon reaching the first alpine meadows, the route now runs through the Gantrisch Regional Nature Park. Passing the mountain lodge, after a strenuous climb you reach the Gurnigel Pass.

After a short section on asphalt on the Gurnigel road, it continues on forest and gravel paths as well as single trails towards Horbüel Pass near Ottenleuenbad. Views of the Gantrisch mountain range open up repeatedly. Fast downhill single trails lead to Zollhaus. From Zollhaus the route continues on gravel paths and single trails towards Schwarzsee. Soon, the local mountain Kaiseregg comes into view and finally the route goes directly to the lake, which is perfect for a cool-down.

In Schwarzsee there are various accommodation, dining and leisure options.
