Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - The artists' village of Veyras, where Rainer Maria Rilke lived, the Raspille Gorge, the Valais Wine Museum in the Zumofenhaus in Salgesch and the village of Varen are all well worth seeing. Another possibility goes through the forest of Pfyn/Finges.
The artists' village of Veyras, where Rainer Maria Rilke lived, the Raspille Gorge, the Valais Wine Museum in the Zumofenhaus in Salgesch and the village of Varen are all well worth seeing. Another path will take you through the forest of Pfyn/Finges, one of the largest pine forests in the Alps.
The Wine Museum is housed in the enclosing wall of the Château de Villa. It shows temporary exhibitions about vineyards and wine and organises a program of conferences, wine-tasting and seminars.
In 1987 the Rilke Foundation moved into the Maison Pancrace de Courten in Sierre and set up their museum.
The Vine and Wine Museum, Sierre - Salgesch is devoted to viticulture. The 2 exhibitions in the Zumofenhaus and the Château Villa deal with differnt topics, but they are linked with a 6-km long nature trail and as such also form one entity.

The winegrowing family Albert Mathier & Sons have been producing exquisite Valais wines with passion and commitment since 1928. We are very proud to demonstrate 80 years of family and winegrowing tradition.
Good wine is primarily produced in the vineyard. Because it is part of the system, we only use our own grapes.
We cultivate 17 different types of wines of the highest quality from ten different grape varieties.
The BnB is located in the vineyards of the Valais winegrowing village of Salgesch at the Cave St. Philippe winery, Philippe Constantin family. Enjoy the fine regional breakfast buffet. The rooms have a shower, WC and washbasin in the wine barrique.

The Felizitas Mathier Benicchio family business is now in its 3rd generation of managers and has been undertaking pioneering work in natural winegrowing dedicated to the wine varieties of Valais for the last half a century.

The only section of the Rhone that could not be channelled, because of the constant flow of debris from the Illgraben!
The oenologist couple Isabella & Stéphane Kellenberger have been running the Vin d'oeuvre wine cellar in the heart of Leuk Town since 2013. They produce quality wines all over the Valais, with the majority of the vines located in the nature Park.
