Hôtel des Horlogers, Le Brassus

Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - Established in 1857 in Le Brassus, in the Vallée de Joux, the Hôtel des Horlogers was acquired in 2003 by the watchmaking group Audemars Piguet. Completely rebuilt, the new establishment opened its doors in 2022.

Renamed in honor of the ancestral watchmaking craftsmanship of the Vallée de Joux, the new Hôtel des Horlogers opened its doors in June 2022. It offers around fifty rooms, including several suites. As a luxury establishment, it features a bar, two restaurants, a spa, a library, and seminar rooms. Located in Le Brassus since 1857, this establishment was acquired in 2003 by the Audemars Piguet group, specializing in luxury watches. It underwent a complete reconstruction, adhering to the most demanding environmental and energy standards. Complementing the accommodation offerings of the Valley, the Hôtel des Horlogers aims to contribute to the dynamism of the local economy and collaborate with local public, economic, and associative stakeholders.

In terms of sustainable development, the establishment demonstrates clear exemplarity. The building is Minergie A+ certified. The furnishings were largely designed using local materials by regional companies and artisans.

Particular care was taken to integrate the hotel into the local landscape. Green roofs and gardens featuring native plants help promote biodiversity. The bar and restaurant menus prominently feature Swiss and regional products. The Hôtel des Horlogers also intends to highlight the activities of the Jura vaudois Regional Nature Park in the field of sustainable tourism and leisure.
