Parc naturel régional Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut - Marshy sites and authentic villages.
This hiking trail is largely on surfaced paths. It starts at the Col des Mosses bus stop and runs from the Les Mosses plateau to La Lécherette.
From La Lécherette, the trail winds along the side of Monts Chevreuils. The north slope offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Pays d'Enhaut, stretching from the Sarine valley, Les Vanils and the Gummfluh, right the way over to Les Moulins and Château-d'Œx, the next stops on the trail.
The path continues downhill through pastureland, meadows and a disused ski slope until it reaches Les Moulins. Food lovers can stock up on Gruyère AOP and raclette cheese at the hamlet's organic cheese dairy. The trail continues along the Sarine river and meadows carpeted with fragrant herbs. The final ascent takes you across fields to the Château-d'Œx. The village is home to the Montreux-Bernese Oberland (MOB) train station. In 2017, the station won a FLUX award, a prestigious Swiss mobility prize that honours well-designed and efficiently run transport hubs which also offer users a high degree of comfort and safety. The judges singled out the station's underpass for particular praise, considering it a true work of art.
