Fin Hugon - Enney

Hiking trail
Time required: 5 hours 30 minutesLength: 14.00 km

Parc naturel régional Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut - From the Gros Mont to the Intyamon

From the Charmey, Fin Hugon stop, the path climbs directly into the forest above the Gros Mont road. At point 997 (indicated on the map), take the path through the Fin Hugon mountain pasture, skirting the wooded hedge.

The walk goes deeper into the forest, then comes out a short distance from the first high point, the Poutes Paluds pasture. The path begins the descent into the Motélon valley, alternating between mountain pastures and meadows. The route follows the Motélon road for 500 metres towards Pinte du Pralet. You can make a diversion here before heading back up to Gros Cuâ, an ideal place to enjoy a gourmet break in an idyllic, authentic setting.

From the road at the bottom of the valley, the path climbs straight up towards the Dent du Chamois, via Les Cuâ, Les Plans and La Draillarda. After the Coula mountain pasture, at an altitude of 1392 metres, the ascent continues towards the Col de la Forcla. On the other side of the slope, you plunge into the Intyamon valley and enjoy the splendid views of the Moléson and Vanils ranges. The route skirts the village of Estavannens and continues as far as Enney station.
