Wildnispark Zürich Sihlwald - At the visitor centre in Sihlwald, there are two otter enclosures and an aquarium.
Several islands and a small, babbling stream enhance the otter enclosures. There, the playful otters can eat and hide. In the underwater section of our otter enclosure, you can watch the otters diving by through a glass panel. The aquarium in the basement of the otter enclosure is home to native fish and native crayfish.
For the past 25 years, the Sihlwald has been allowed to develop freely. On this hike, you can clearly feel that you are in a special forest wilderness here. Below the most important aspects, you can find the whole descirption in the PDF (German only)
ViaNatura is an initiative run by Zürcher Wanderwege and takes in the canton’s most beautiful natural landscapes. The fourth stage leads from the Silberweide Nature Centre to the Sihlwald, a park of national importance.
