Landschaftspark Binntal - No other alpine region presents such a varied and unique mineral richness as the Binn Valley.
A huge diversity of minerals was formed in a small space in Binn Valley thanks to the different types of stones with their diverse chemical compositions and contact zones.

The mineral excursions are carried out at altitudes of approx. 2800 m above sea level. The ascent amounts to 500 to 700 meters of altitude difference, partly on hiking trails partly also offside. The degree of difficulty corresponds to T3 of the new mountain and alpine hiking scale. Therefore, surefootedness and good physical condition are necessary, mountain experience is desirable. However, no aids such as rope or crampons are required. For the ascent you should be able to walk for about 2.5 hours, the descent takes about 1.5 hours. The equipment is also important: hiking boots and warm clothing are absolutely necessary (no sneakers).Minimum age: 10 years
