The "Heights & Horizons" Leisure Route takes you from Balsthal to Couvet for a real energy boost that will blow your mind! The Passwang Pass and the Vogelbergfluh in the Thal Nature Park offer a breath-taking panorama over Basel and all the way to the Alps. The two passes on the next stage also reward you with magnificent views. You then reach the charming medieval town of Saint-Ursanne, the gateway to the Doubs Nature Park. Take the time to visit a franches-montagnes horse breeding farm before passing through the Chasseral Nature Park on the crest of Mont-Soleil. You then travel between dry stone walls, testimony to a long regional tradition, and wind turbines, creating the energy of the future. This Leisure Route ends with a small glass of “green fairy” in the beautiful Val-de-Travers.
