Oberhof hiking routes: Wittelweiher route (short)
Jurapark Aargau - The circular hike around Oberhof attracts with shady spots and little frequented paths.
Oberhof lies at the foot of Benkerjoch - nestled in the typical hilly landscape of Jurapark Aargau. Three signposted circular hiking routes, each with a short and a longer variant, lead through different parts of the municipality. The paths partly run on old, almost forgotten trails, which have been made accessible again for the three routes.
The short Wittelweiher route runs over little frequented paths and invites you to linger in shady spots. About halfway you reach the Wittelweiher ponds, where the rare Glögglifrosch (midwife toad) occurs.
