Jurapark Aargau - Perimuk the Jura dinosaur wants to discover the hidden natural treasures around the village of Herznach. Will you join?
Perimuk, the Jura dinosaur, invites you to a discovery route to ringing toads, stone snails, and bright forests. Equipped with the photo hiking map, available at the start or at the Jurapark office, the children find the right way themselves – which motivates them to hike! True explorers get a research set before starting, consisting of an explorer booklet and expedition materials. With this, children can discover small animals along the path, study stones, and solve exciting tasks. Perimuk is already looking forward to many young explorers who will discover the treasures around Herznach with him!
The pure hiking time is about 2 hours. Including puzzles, the adventure takes about 4 hours.

Details
Research set: The route is also walkable without the research set; children then just find the way using the photos. No puzzles are hidden on site. The research set is available for CHF 18 at the following sales points:

Bring along: Pocket knife as well as hammer and chisel are recommended for fossil searching and research tasks.

Strollers: The forest path up to photo 9 is accessible for all-terrain strollers. From photo 25, a detour with the stroller is necessary (see map).

WC: There is no public toilet in Herznach. Please visit one of the restaurants and enjoy a refreshment.
Parking: At the community center (Schulstr. 9) or at the church (Kirchweg 5). For an authentic nature park experience, we recommend arriving by public transport.

Safety advices
The Weichle hammering site is permanently closed for safety reasons. Please do not enter the site. The puzzles from the explorer booklet are still a great experience and work well without the hammering site. Tip for enthusiastic fossil hunters: On every 1st Sunday of the month from April to October, the hammering site at the Herznach mine is open from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm during the open mine days, and hammering is possible. The Gruhalde hammering site in Frick is accessible all year round; hammer and chisel must be brought along, and entering is at your own risk.
