Wildnispark Zürich Sihlwald - On the Sihl riverside path from the visitor centre to Langenberg Wildlife Park.
From the visitor centre in Sihlwald, walk past the railway station and over a bridge to the other side of the Sihl, then turn left towards Langnau am Albis. A natural path leads along the river. There are small structures such as damp areas and nutrient-poor meadows to discover, which provide a valuable habitat for many animal and plant species. Cross the Sihl on the footpath along the railway bridge in Gattikon. From the footbridge along the spinning mill site, you can often see dippers and occasionally kingfishers. The path continues on the left side of the Sihl to the Wildpark-Höfli station and from here, follow the hiking trail signs towards Langenberg. On the way, an amphibian pond invites you to take a break and observe the wildlife. From there, a final steep section of the trail leads past wolves and wildcats to the cosy terrace of the Langenberg restaurant. Alternative: From Langnau-Gattikon station, take the hiking trail through the village to the main entrance of the animal park in 40 minutes.
Die Tiere werden mittels einer automatisch gesteuerten Anlage gefüttert, die ihnen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten und an verschiedenen Orten ihre "Beute" frei gibt. Dies soll die Tiere aktivieren und lässt sie ihre potentielle Beute belauern.
A pile of branches here, a few piled stones there and an insect hotel on the wall – all places where lizards, hedgehogs, bees, and other small animals find a home.
In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Sonnenterasse des Restaurants Langenberg befindet sich ein Kleinkinderspieplatz mit Rutsche, Kletterhäuschen und Spielkran.
Branch nests, suspension bridges, a hollow silver fir trunk, a snake made of wood - these are the centrepieces of the wilderness playground at the visitor centre in Sihlwald. The exciting play wilderness offers challenges for young and old.
Diverse Schaukeln und ein Hängekarussell laden die kleinen Gäste dazu ein, sich auf dem Spielplatz direkt beim Restaurant etwas auszutoben.

There are three barbecue area with several benches in front of the Visitor centre in Sihlwald. Firewood is available in wooden crates.
Here you can eat a wide range of products with natural animal entertainment directly in front of the brown bear. There is a serve-service restaurant with a large gravel terrace, an amusing children's corner and also six cosy guest rooms.
