Regionaler Naturpark Schaffhausen - The Celtic Wall in Jestetten from the 2nd century BC testify the Celtic story of the region.
This as “Schanz” known wall protects the settlement which existed from ca. 150 BC until 15 BC. In the middle of the wall you can see the reconstruction of a so-called Pfostenschlitzmauer (German for “post-slot wall”) as it was once found in the wall.
Cycle through endless vineyards, past breathtaking viewpoints, through lush pastures and rustling woodlands. Be enchanted by the charm of the wine-growing villages and treat yourself to a good drop of Blauburgunder!
