"Winterihau" Biotope

Regionaler Naturpark Schaffhausen - The ‘Winterihau’ area is an idyllic landscape of ponds and dry areas. This unique biotope landscape was created from reclaimed iron ore pits and now provides an important habitat for a variety of animal and plant species.

There is plenty to discover on the circular walk through this unique area. However, to protect the natural environment, we ask that you do not stray from the marked path.
