15 October: The bridge at Schappumatta has been removed. However, the path is still passable
Afterwards, you reach the less steep and treeless plateau of Schapleralpe, from where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. The trail continues with a final ascent to the Schaplersee - a small pearl at the foot of the rugged Hirlihorn.
