Family and Nature Experience Trail Grasburg
Naturpark Gantrisch - Discover the diversity and special features of the native trees & shrubs as well as the natural highlights at Sensengraben on the Grasburg Nature Experience Trail. Take a break at the large barbecue area. An experience for the whole family.
The Grasburg Nature Experience Trail consists of around fifty plant display boards, large information boards at four locations with play opportunities, and an inviting barbecue spot. In addition, the Sensenschlucht, which is reachable from Grasburg within a few minutes, offers bathing opportunities.
The approximately 2.5-kilometer circular route runs over forest and field paths and can be walked in both directions all year round. It is easily accessible on foot from Schwarzenburg or Lanzenhäusern. It is only partially suitable for strollers. The time needed is 1 to 2 hours.
With the Nature Experience Trail, the Nature and Homeland Protection Association Schwarzenburgerland wants to encourage visitors to move in nature. With this goal and thanks to its environmental education character, the trail fits perfectly into the philosophy of the Gantrisch Nature Park.
