Jurapark Aargau - Mountain bike tour from Aarau to Gisliflue
In Aargau, there are only a few legal bike trails and even fewer trails with such spectacular views as this tour! The municipality of Auenstein has opened bike trails around Gisliflue - and with this route, we give you a tip for the best tour up to Gisliflue:
You start in Aarau and ride leisurely along the Aare towards Auenstein. Just before Auenstein, the ascent begins via forest paths towards the Gisliflue ridge. Once at the top, the narrow ridge trail leads to the viewpoint. Here, you will find an impressive panoramic view over the lush green Jura Park hills and all the way to the Alps.
The descent then leads again over forest and bike paths into the village of Auenstein, where a final refreshment stop at Al Ristorantino is worthwhile. From here, it is only a few meters to Wildegg train station or leisurely back along the Aare to Aarau.
