Spycherweg

Theme trail
Time required: 2 hours 30 minutesLength: 7.05 km

Naturpark Gantrisch - Discover historic Spycher in the Schwarzenburg region on a hike from Lanzenhäusern to Schwarzenburg.

The “Spycherweg” leads you on an entertaining hike through the diverse cultural landscape of Obereichi and makes stops at the charming small buildings along the way. The storehouses are not protected museum objects but part of the history of every farm you encounter. Whether attractive or charismatic, each “Spycher” has details and common features to discover. “One only sees what one knows,” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe already said. His words come from a time when the storehouses were newly built, but they still hold true today, and in this spirit, we wish you exciting discoveries and many aha moments.

The original route of the Spycherweg runs from Lanzenhäusern train station to Schwarzenburg train station (5 km). The hike can be extended with a village walk in Schwarzenburg (+2 km). There you will find more exciting storehouses to visit.
