The path leads over the summer hiking trail through the beautiful Mühlebach forest. Once on the road, the destination is not far away. Over alpine meadows, the trail leads past old stables and pretty holiday cottages to Berghaus Chäserstatt. On the sun terrace with a view over the Rhone valley you can fortify yourself for the descent. The mountain hotel convinces with seasonal and trendy cuisine with fresh, regional and local products. There are also various accommodation options. In the luxury room you will enjoy the highest comfort, in the standard room you will experience alpine hut feeling.
If you wish, you can also take the Erner Galen Trail after a break
(2.3 km and 463 m altitude difference) under your feet.
Make a stop in the small hamlet and look at the sunburned houses: Mühlebach has the oldest village centre in Switzerland of timber construction. Here there is a signposted house trail leading to objects worthy of seeing.
Experience unforgettable moments in the Berghotel Chäserstatt - a sun parlour in the midst of a magnificent mountain world at 1777 m.a.s.l. On the large sun terrace you can enjoy the overwhelming view over the Rhone Valley as far as the Weisshorn.
