Gantrischseeli Trail - via Obere Gantrischhütte

Naturpark Gantrisch - Cozy snowshoe route to Gantrischseeli via the Obere Gantrischhütte.

From the PostBus stop and the Untere Gantrischhütte parking lot, there are three ways to reach the wintery Gantrischseeli. The route follows the summer hiking trails. At the junctions, snowshoe route signposts are installed. The destinations and hiking times can be read on the summer signposts. This provides visitors unfamiliar with the area additional attractive paths away from the roads.

Depending on snow conditions and prior use, the route can also simply be used as a winter hiking trail.

After starting at the Untere Gantrischhütte, head toward the Obere Gantrischhütte. Follow the signposts. After ascending to the Obere Gantrischhütte, you have a great view of the Gantrischsee from there. After a moment of rest, descend to the lake and then continue directly along the Gantrischsee shore heading back down toward the Untere Gantrischhütte, the starting point.
