Sortel Round
Naturpark Gantrisch - A long easy descent is followed by a long easy to challenging ascent. The Sortel Round with the starting point at Schutzhütte Süftenen is well suited for experienced cross-country skiers.
The starting point of the Sortel Round is located at the Schutzhütte Süftenen. From there, it goes steadily slightly downhill along the main axis towards Ottenleuebad. Upon reaching Upper Sortel, the long descent to Lower Sortel begins across mountain meadows and open terrain. Those who look forward to the long descent can also look forward to the long ascent and many altitude meters. The path slowly winds through Sortel and over the lower Burst back up and returns to the starting point.

Guests without their own equipment can rent classic and skating cross-country skiing equipment at three locations at affordable prices. It is self-service; payment is made on site in cash or via Twint.
