Naturpark Diemtigtal - Through forests, along icy mountain streams and over snow-covered meadows, the cross-country skiing trails in the Diemtigtal lead you 22 kilometers in classic and skating styles.
The circular route between Grimmialp and Zwischenflüh offers various starting points and lets you put together your own route as you wish. The cross-country trails of the Diemtigtal lead you along mountain streams, through snowy forests and over pristine meadows, allowing you to glide weightlessly and rhythmically through the snow.
Physically and technically the most demanding terrain, scenically beautiful with Blauseeli and Würzi forest.

Safety advices
The descent along the Senggibach requires necessary caution. In case of a föhn storm, the Würzi forest should be avoided.
Signalization
The circular route starts at the post bus stop «Grimmialp» and leads over Senggi towards the village of Schwenden. Turn around at Buechi and follow the upper track to the idyllic Blauseeli. From here you reach the home of the forest man Grimmimutz and run along the Senggibach to the Würzi. As soon as you reach the turning point in the Würzi forest, you have completed the most strenuous part: The descent leads you back to the starting point on a second track. Follow the groomed trail and the turquoise signage.
