Eglise de Mollens

Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois - The ‘Mitcha-Bou’ church, whose name is reminiscent of that of the inhabitants of Mollens, is a Cluniac site dating from the 12th century.

Part of Romainmôtier until the early 14th century, the church of Mollens and its monastery were then supported by income from land holdings. Damaged twice by fire, notably in 1798, the church has had an eventful history. It is now listed in the Federal Inventory of Built Heritage of National Importance (ISOS).
