Panoramic mountain hike Niesen-Diemtigtal
Naturpark Diemtigtal - The Niesen funicular takes you steeply up to the "Swiss Pyramid". This is followed by a panoramic mountain hike of superlatives. At Hoschüpfe you can enjoy the panoramic view over peaks, lakes and valleys.
Take the Niesen funicular up a steep incline to the "Swiss Pyramid". This is followed by a panoramic mountain hike of superlatives (3.5 hours). On Hoschüpfe you can enjoy the panoramic view over peaks, lakes and valleys.
Hike across alpine pastures to the Gsässweid inn (1 hour), where you will spend the night. The next morning you will be driven comfortably to Oey-Diemtigen railway station or to the valley station of the Niesen funicular.
Details
The mountain trail leads through pastures with herding dogs during one/two weeks in summer. Please pay attention to signs and notices and get information at the tourist office.
