Naturpark Pfyn-Finges - The winegrowing family Albert Mathier & Sons have been producing exquisite Valais wines with passion and commitment since 1928. We are very proud to demonstrate 80 years of family and winegrowing tradition.

The Albert Mathier & Sons vineyard is a small family business which is committed to the joys of wine. A great deal of experience and tradition has been accrued over the years. The family’s vines are expertly nurtured to produce some of the indigenous red and white wines of Valais. The Albert Mathier & Sons winegrowing family owns over 300,000 vines. The family has overall responsibility for the wines – from the vines to the finished bottles. Since 2009, we have been storing wines in accordance with the 7,500 year old Kvevri method. The wines are produced and matured in clay vessels: the Amphore®. We very much look forward to welcoming you to our tasting room in Salgesch and presenting our wines to you.
