The funicular railway takes us from Sierre to Montana and there we take the bus to Aminona. After a surprise by the Raspille we continue to Cordona. Finally we follow the big water canal as far as Varen.
Leukerbad is the largest thermal spa and wellness resort in the Alps and has the most attractive thermal baths in Switzerland. Leukerbad is worth a visit all year round, both in summer and winter and offers a wide variety of tourist attractions.
The first stage starts well above the Rhone Valley and takes you down to the bottom of the valley with magnificent views over the sunny terraces.
The second stage takes you to wine-growing villages through the Mediterranean vineyard.
The nature and landscape centre Salquenen is the administrative headquarters of the nature park. There you will find the reception, the shop, the library, and the office premises.

Exceptional landscapes, historic village centres and impressive views of the Rhone Valley.
Oberems lies on a mountain road at the entrance to the Turtmann valley at an altitude of 1335 m. The "Gateway to Turtmann valley" only has 135 inhabitants, but with 5080 ha its area is one of the largest communities in the district of Leuk.

The barn is no longer used for threshing. Nevertheless, it still remains as a workroom. The Society for the culture and promotion of old Albinen AA+ offers the educational program “model barn construction” here.
An accommodation option for families, groups or clubs with a maximum of 11 to 14 people who want to spend their time in a homely and rustic atmosphere. A kitchen is available
The forest of Pfyn/Finges nature reserve is the centrepiece of the regional nature park Pfyn/Finges. The forest of Pfyn/Finges has been officially protected since 1997, after it had already been included in the KLN inventory in 1963.
Oberems has also done something for families with children and made a picnic and children's playground on 2001 at Fenster 7, just above the village.
In the heart of the forest of Pfyn/Finges the groundwater forms a series of ponds with resounding names such as: Muggotolo, Pfafforetsee, Muggenseeli, Rosensee and Schafsee.
The pyramids in Salgesch have arisen through irregular erosion of the rocks.

Since August 2021, Yves and Lucia Cordonier have been the new keepers of this mountain restaurant, which has been stylishly renovated with a lot of love and assistance from supporters in the region.
The main valley in the Valais widens, sun warms the dry mountain slopes. Between Leuk and Sierre an unruly part of the Rhone, and the Pfynwald, a nature reserve on a huge mound of glacier detritus; a motorway will be built here.
In 1987 the Rilke Foundation moved into the Maison Pancrace de Courten in Sierre and set up their museum.
