Combining an organic bakery and pastry shop, a self-service store and a catering service, La Marendaz brings a breath of fresh air to Grand Rue in Château-d’Œx. Ludivine Ansermet, who grew up in the Pays-d’Enhaut, offers her own delicious creations, including sourdough breads, cheese ramequins, meringues, cream cakes and ice cream.

Her shop, open 24/7 — an original concept in the village — also showcases a wide selection of regional products, organic whenever possible, alongside everyday essentials.

Above all, La Marendaz is committed to working directly with local producers, without intermediaries and at fair prices. As Ludivine puts it: “In the Pays-d’Enhaut, everything can be found locally!”

The catering service also prepares delicious ready-made dishes using local ingredients, including vegetarian options, available to take away from the shop.
