Gantrisch Panoramatrail (SchweizMobil 379)
Naturpark Gantrisch - The Gantrisch Panorama Trail offers wonderful views of the foothills of the Alps and the Jura mountain range. The high-altitude hike follows well-maintained and signposted hiking trails. One of the highlights is the Gäggersteg!
The 22-kilometre Gantrisch Panorama Trail definitely lives up to its name. To the south, the peaks of the Gantrisch chain with Nüneneflue, Gantrisch, Bürgle and Ochse are within reach; further away, snow-covered Alpine peaks can be seen. Towards the north, the view sweeps over the Schwarzenburgerland and the Bernese Mittelland to Lake Biel and the Jura. With good visibility, the view reaches as far as the Feldberg in the Black Forest and Titlis and Pilatus.
The hike can be started in Zollhaus or at the Gurnigelbad. The well-prepared hiking trail can be walked in both directions. If the route is too far for you, you can also do it in stages. You can get on and off at Gäggersteg (Rüschegg Schwarzenbühl, Kurhaus), Süftene (bus stop for hikers) or at Gurnigel Berghaus (Gurnigel, Berghaus).
The family highlight on the route will definitely be the Gäggersteg. The wooden footbridge leads over the dead wood on the Pfyffe and offers an insight into the self-generating nature.
