Ridge hike Gisliflue

Jurapark Aargau - Experience a varied hike on the Jura ridge with impressive panoramas - a circular route with cozy rest spots and breathtaking views.

The starting point for the spectacular ridge hike to the Gisliflue is the PostBus stop "Staffelegg Passhöhe". A short stretch along the cantonal road leads to the Staffelegg parking lot, the highest point of the connection between Staffelegg Passhöhe and Thalheim. From there, it goes up over the Hombergegg to the Homberg ridge and further along the ridge through a gate to the Gisliflue. In good weather, there is a magnificent panoramic view of the alpine range, the Jura chains, and the heights of the Black Forest. The descent leads over the Gislimatt to the Naturfreundehaus Gisliflue, which is open on Sundays. From there, it goes past Hof Rischele back to the Staffelegg parking lot and the PostBus stop.
