Fricktaler Chriesiwäg
Jurapark Aargau - The Chriesiwäg in Gipf-Oberfrick leads through the beautiful, cherry tree-rich landscape of the Frick valley. Along the path, you will find several information boards about cherry cultivation.
The Chriesiwäg in Gipf-Oberfrick leads through the beautiful, cherry tree-rich landscape of the Frick valley and provides interesting information about cherry cultivation. Various information boards complement the family-friendly hiking route. The barbecue area located halfway along the route invites you to take a break and also offers a unique view over the Frick valley. Those who want to continue hiking can switch from the barbecue area to the additional route (total around 2 hours 15 minutes hiking time).
Alternative routes: During cherry blossom time (end of March to end of April) the Frick valley Chriesiwäg is very well visited. We therefore recommend diverting to other routes that also lead through beautiful cherry tree landscapes: www.jurapark-aargau.ch/fruehlingstipps

Bookable offers: A guided hike on the Chriesiwäg with a landscape guide can be booked with or without tasting at Jurapark Aargau.
Dogs: Dogs are very welcome on the Chriesiwäg, but please keep your dog on a leash. Roe deer are often seen just a few meters after the village, in places still far from the forest. The animals are stressed by unleashed dogs and other many guests on the path and their dogs will thank you if you keep your four-legged friend on a leash throughout the entire route.
Jurapark etiquette: Thank you for staying on the path, not stepping on the tall grass, taking your rubbish home with you, and not stealing cherries from the trees along the way.
