Cross-country skiing report BergfexDiscover a total of 50 kilometers of cross-country trails in classic and skating style on the Marbach-Escholzmatt-Bumbach trail network and enjoy the incomparable view. The trail access point is located at the Escholzmatt train station. It mostly runs through flat terrain to Ebnet. From there, it continues to Alpbach, from where you can continue to Wiggen or return to the Escholzmatt train station.

With all passes and tickets for the cross-country ski trail, you can travel free of charge during the winter season on the Postbus route Escholzmatt-Kemmeriboden! There are 15 Postbus stops along the trail.

Safety advices
- Use only the marked trail and follow the signposts.
- Behave considerately towards other trail users and the landscape.
- Carry additional sun protection. UV rays at high altitude can be very strong especially in winter, even in cloudy weather.
- Weather conditions in the mountains can change very quickly and without warning. Appropriate clothing is very important.
