The village of Diemtigtal is proud of its status as «Site of national importance». The magnificent old wooden houses and the church characterise the whole valley and could certainly tell a few tales from history.
Die Ausstellung zeigt einen grossen Teil der reichen Vogelwelt des Naturparks Diemtigtal. Die Vögel wurden einem für sie typischen Lebensraum zugeordnet. Einen Besuch kannst du mit einem Spaziergang auf dem Vogelweg verbinden.
The Old T-Bar downhill track is the intermediate downhill track in the HOT-TRAIL Bikepark Wiriehorn. It guarantees lots of riding fun!

The cosy and rustic Eggmatte Beizli, with a magnificent mountain view, is located at the back of the Diemtigtal and is the starting point for many outdoor activities.
The Diemtigtal can be discovered very well on foot. For people with a walking disability, this is often not possible. At Camping Eggmatte on Grimmialp, you can rent an all-terrain Mountain Drive wheelchair.
The Eyenriedschopf is a rocky shelter. It's the first resting place of the middle Stone Age which was found in the Swiss Alps.

The Alptrail educational trail is the first of its kind in Switzerland and is the easiest route in the HOT-TRAIL Bikepark Wiriehorn. Here you learn to ride a simple route in the terrain with your bike.
The Geopath leads around the Wiriehorn and shows the formation history of this landscape. It imparts interesting facts about mountain and valley, glaciers and water, rock and stone.
